Our Story

It all began in 2009 when Nelson and Antoine, two young professionals with a shared passion for entrepreneurship, crossed paths. Over the course of 15 years, they navigated the ups and downs of their respective careers, supporting each other through thick and thin. Little did they know that their lasting bond would one day form the foundation of a groundbreaking venture.
 

The year 2020 marked a pivotal moment, as the world grappled with the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nelson and Antoine, like so many others, found themselves forced to reimagine their professional paths.
 

Drawing on Nelson deep knowledge of the Chinese market and Antoine's expertise in European import and distribution, the duo had a eureka moment. They recognized the untapped potential of introducing the exquisite yet underappreciated mushroom varieties from Eastern China to the discerning palates of Western Europe and vice versa.


With unwavering determination and a shared vision, Nelson and Antoine set out to turn their dream into reality. In 2019, they established Mushroom Hub, a company dedicated to bridging the culinary divide between the East and the West.
